Mini Ice Bath Chiller

Reliably cools down a cold plunge with 450 l capacity at a rate of ca. 1-1.5 deg. C per hour, depending on outside temperature, even when it's hot outside (30 deg. C). Fan noise is acceptable, the water pump is basically silent. Comes with all required accessories and hardware (except the cold plunge connection). Before buying the chiller, I installed 3/4'' tank connectors on the cold plunge, which turned out to be overkill, because the included hoses and connectors are only 1/2'', but that doesn't seem to have a negative effect on cooling capacity. Since the chiller musn't be exposed to minus temperatures, I installed Gardena quick connectors at the tank valves to be able to quickly disconnect both hoses in winter. All hoses are already insulated, which is a nice touch. The water filter is washable and can be easily replaced after a couple of months of use with fairly cheap (4.50 euro) replacement filters from Amazon. The only gripe I have (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is the iOS app, which still looks like a work in progress, with quite a rudimentary look and feel, and temperature graphs which are quite unreliable, but at least it allows to control the temperature and turn the chiller on and off remotely. The user manual is also quite short - it doesn't explain for example that it's normal for the water level in the filter to be less than half during operation, which I think is kinda important to know so that you don't worry. It also doesn't tell you how often to wash and replace the filter. But the customer service guys are very responsive (WhatsApp) and quickly cleared up all doubts. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase, now I can enjoy the cold plunge after the sauna in 8 deg. C cold water even in the summer, which feels absolutely amazing!
